NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is to notify you that there will be a Public Hearing by the Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Village Office at 48 Genesee Street, 2nd Floor, New Hartford with respect to the application of Baggs Square Holdings, LLC for a special use permit enabling it to undertake the project to convert the building located at 64 Pearl Street, New Hartford into a 4-family, premium unit dwelling, and for variances of applicable area, yard and bulk requirements including those relating to minimum lot size, maximum lot coverage, yard dimensions and parking requirements. At present, the building is a 2-story building with a 3,125 sq. ft. footprint which was formerly a convent associated with St. John the Evangelist Church. In connection with the project, applicant proposes to construct 8 parking spaces, primarily in front of the building (on the Pearl Street side).
The premises are located in R-1 Residential District and bear tax parcel id no. 329.018-6-35.
The above described application is open to inspect at the ZBA’s office at Butler Hall, 48 Genesee Street, New Hartford, NY during normal business hours. Persons wishing to appear at the public hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the ZBA before or at the public hearing.
